How check-in works

- Open the scannerFrom your event in MSV Events, on any volunteer phone.
- Scan at the doorThe pass QR checks the person in; after check-in it becomes their connect code.
- Watch the room fillRegistered, checked in and walk-ins update live; the event report has the totals.

Is QR check-in free?
Yes. Passes, the scanner and check-in are free for organisers with no limits on registrants.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Both the pass and the scanner work offline and sync later.
Do volunteers need a special device or app?
No. Any smartphone with a camera opens the MyStartupValley Events scanner in the browser. Volunteers sign in to your event, scan each Event Pass and see a result card at once; a pass scanned twice is flagged.
Can I check in people who registered on another tool?
Yes. Import a CSV or Excel export from Luma, Google Forms or Townscript; each person gets a pass to scan.
